Creative work is a manifestation of your creative spirit. The divine gift of creativity expresses uniquely through each of us. When our creativity has an
outlet for conscious expression, we connect with divine inspiration and our own divine nature.
Creative Work can consist of expressing yourself in a manner that creates something; such as painting, dancing, music, writing …. it can even include gardening and cooking!
I use to think that I was not a creative person. After all, I did not paint, sculpt or create art. It took me years before I realize that even though I was not artistic, I did create!
When we create, we touch on something larger than ourselves. We access and feel Spirit within! And one of the main ways that Spirit expresses itself is through creation — manifested through each one of us.
So like the booklet says, creating in any form is a spiritual practice
Creative expression invites us to touch inspiration — to be breathed by God.
Obviously, in my situation, I create through my writing. Even when I am writing business materials, I am still feeling and accessing Spirit within to guide my thoughts and words.
I am creating when I conduct my manifestation treatment sessions. During these sessions, I practice the art of listening, feeling, discernment, and prayer — all practices coming from Spirit within me.
Other ways you create can be through dancing and singing (even if it is by yourself in our home), sewing, scrapbooking, or landscaping your yard.
Being creative also takes our minds off any stress or turmoil that may be going on around us by focusing our attention. Writing has done this for me!
Have you thought about ways that you are creative? Anytime we are guided from within, we are creating. When we experience the joy and feeling of creating, we are in the divine flow of Spirit.
So go on and express your inner joy and creative abilities knowing that you are expressing Spirit when you do!
