Feedback on Our Current Government

Last week, I shared an article on What the Current Government has Taught Me.  I received some excellent thoughts on the article and would like to share the feedback on our current government.

I love Fatima’s focus on acceptance and not absorbing what is going on around us.Feedback on Our Current Government

My 2¢ … sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.
When suffering happens, welcome it, because it can lead to self-transcendence.
And it is madness to argue with what is because it already is.
The current government is something that life is doing, I just observe, I do not absorb.

Diane reminds us that we need to give our attention to being in alignment with God. She suggests we focus on the outcomes we desire.

… I see the current world situation as an opportunity for light workers to move to the frontline and do our magic. The answer to the challenges lies within us.
We can pray this away rather than becoming embroiled in the fear and creation of more like it. I also thought of Gandhi today, who said he was neither Christian, Hindu, Muslim, nor Jew, and I was reminded that when asked what my religion was, I would respond none, or it is love.  I was also reminded of the biblical story about Daniel being tossed into the lion’s den and not being eaten by them. This, for me, was a lesson of faith, and raising one’s vibration from fear to Love.  Daniel, in my opinion, remained in alignment with his God nature; therefore, since that was his only awareness, it was also the only awareness of the lions. That is how powerful we are. I believe that if we as light workers give our attention to being alignment with our God nature and continuously raise our love vibration, world leaders would catch the wave of love, we are that powerful.
“A world that works for everyone ” is at hand now.  In religious science, we are taught that there is no precedence.
I like what you have said, yes, it is indeed a teachable period for the world. We learn from it, yes, but we must also take steps
to move beyond what we learn and teach what we know, and that is to use affirmative prayer and focus on the outcomes that we desire. Our leaders are not the bosses of us. We should focus on retelling these stories so that the entire world gets on board with “change your thinking, change your world”.
Imagine a world where the political leaders were New Thought and Science of Mind practitioners. Let us take up our beds and walk.

I see and agree with Christian’s point!

I imagine that living in the heart of MAGA country presents its own unique challenges, especially when engaging with people who may hold very different viewpoints. It’s admirable how you approach these situations with grace and a focus on learning and growth.
Your article resonated with me, and I particularly appreciated your points about self-reflection, inclusivity, and supporting those in need.

There’s just one small note I wanted to share: in your second point, you used the term “sexual preference.” I know your intention was to express love and acceptance, which came through beautifully. However, I wanted to mention that the term “sexual preference” is often seen as outdated because it can suggest that orientation is a choice rather than an inherent identity. Terms like “sexual orientation” are considered more inclusive and accurate.

  1. I think what you are experiencing without proper identification and recognition is a form of withdrawal as the era of Marxist/Leninist/Socialism breathes it’s last breaths in society. Since it’s inception in this Republic in 1933, the previous governments have inflated our fiat currency, driven us $37,000,000,000,000.00 in debt, grown a massive welfare/redistribution bureaucracy, and allowed violent crime to propagate. Much like what conservative thinkers felt in the 1930’s as the federal government grew, similar feelings and emotions emerge from the other side as they realize the failure of big, omnipotent government and the seismic shift back to our Constitutionally confined governing philosophy. Change can sometimes be painful for people who don’t understand fully what is happening.
