What do I mean by the phrase, I AM Possible?
Someone brought to my attention that the word IMPOSSIBLE can be broken down to I-M-Possible! Meaning I AM Possible in all things.
How many times do we say that something or some task is impossible? We give up when we could be learning the most important lesson of our lives at that time. I understand that sometimes, our lives and challenges seem insurmountable.
I also know that giving up and maybe walking away can also be more disastrous than moving through the challenges.
Personally, there have been several times in my life that I have felt that way: When I finally decided to leave my abusive husband, when I gave birth to my first child (not an easy labor), or when our home burned down. Of course, for a time, I did feel helpless and hopeless, but thankfully, I had the option to change my perspective.
Through these times, I chose to see things differently. I reframed my thinking process and became strong while moving beyond the circumstances.
Reframing our thinking is not always easy, but it is necessary when we fall into the trap of thinking that our lives are impossible to change. I am sure we all have times like that. I recall a time when I lost a job that I loved, rather suddenly. There was no cause for the firing, which frustrated me even further. What I did not know at the time, when I was let go from this position, and was willing to reframe my thinking about it, made this misfortune become one of the greatest blessings. Of course, I could have bemoaned the injustice and totally missed the blessing.
I stopped looking at situations as impossible. We don’t always know what the future holds. However, we can keep our minds open to the possibilities that may unfold through this action.
Instead of thinking life is impossible, please look at the truth: I AM possible! This reframing opens us to the blessing in store for each of us, as nothing is impossible with Spirit.
What situation in your life seems impossible? Perhaps you, too, can reframe your thinking and realize that ‘I Am Possible!’ Because with Spirit, anything is possible!
