Following is the first in a series of articles based on the words of New Thought leaders — current or the past leaders.
The first quote is from Albert Einstein. Many people do not realize it, but Einstein embraced many New Thought principles
New Thought Inspiration from Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist. He developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). Einstein’s work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science… He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his “services to theoretical physics”, in particular, his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory. “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
It may be hard to get your brain around this one even though it makes perfect sense!
If we create a problem in one mindset (the ego), how are we going to ever solve it if we are in the same mindset?
This sounds like the perfect example of thinking outside the box. Sitting back from our typically thinking to look at a problem can open all kinds of opportunities for new solutions to come to mind.
Looking to Spirit within to guide and direct us is the best way to get out of a wrong or ineffective mindset.
Spending time in reflective prayer and meditation is one effective way to move beyond the human or ego mindset and back into Spirit where the answers are!
Centering ourselves with meditation brings us back to remembering who we are.
One last quote from Einstein …
“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.”
