There are many articles and readings on the vibration of love. Not the type of love you see in the movies, but what is real love and how it is expressed in the world.
My husband and I joke about how love is portrayed in the movies. Boy meets girl who, of course, turned out to be their soulmate! Within a very short time, they are either married or in bed together, all within a 90-minute movie! I have never seen a relationship work that way. Not without the bumps we experience in our relationships. Whether we are together for a few weeks or 30+ years!
What really is the vibration of love?
Marianne Williamson’s description of love is very inspiring:
Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on Earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life.
Kelly Robbins, in her article in the Science of Mind Magazine, adds the following thoughts:
To know love, to be love is the meaning of life. Harmonizing and vibrating at the frequency of love is the essence of God. We are born knowing and being nothing but pure loving.
One of the best ways I know to express love is through compassion. Compassion leads us to vibrating love, an act of sharing it with the world. Just being with someone, offering kindness, and serving with a listening ear or a helping hand tells others that we see them and that they matter.
We can get so busy with our lives that we forget to see those around us. Without meaning to, we withdraw love when we fail to see others—especially those who may be struggling.
The world is challenging at times. How often, while navigating life, do we long for encouragement, patience, or attention? We are not alone in our need for connection. We can expand and express love to others by listening, seeing, and offering whatever attention is needed. Connecting with those around us is important because I truly believe that living in a vacuum is not an effective way to live.
Maybe this seems too ‘Pollyanna’, but think for a minute: What would our world look like if we all strived to be the vibration of love to ourselves and the world around us?
