Who’s Watching You: The Observer!

Who’s Watching You
~ Jack Roberts

No doubt you’ve had the experience of doing or saying something that you later regretted. It’s even worse when you have the feeling; “I knew better”.

I’m sure you’ve also experienced being angry or frustrated, impatient or irritated.

These experiences typically do not serve you but I’ll give you a way to avoid having them come up in your life as often as they do.

There is a greater you, a Higher Self. That Higher Self is connected to the Divine and is sometimes referred to as The Observer. This Observer part of you is not interacting on the physical plane. Your Higher Self is not driven by emotion or influenced by circumstance. You can experience The Observer when you just get quiet and release all thoughts for a moment. Imagine being out of your body and looking at yourself – this is how The Observer sees things.

Now, try it as you engage in an activity. It could be having a conversation, eating a meal or reading this email. While you’re doing this, imagine your Higher Self is quietly watching.

It’s important to know that Your Higher Self is never judging you. Never disappointed, nor happy – it’s just a witness.

So what’s the point of the Observer?

This is your connection to the Divine.

Because your Higher Self is not influenced by emotions or circumstances, it can serve as a clear conduit for wisdom and guidance. Being in Observer mode can also help you to be centered or at peace.

The more you become aware that you are aware, the better decisions you’ll make in your day to day activities. Your thinking will be more clear and your actions will be more focused and guided.
